For silos, hoppers, and chutes |
| |
Numerous industries handle and stock bulk products containing a certain percentage of humidity, making such products particularly sticky. This property results in adhesion to the metallic or concrete walls of silos, hoppers, or chutes, and consequently may lead to a total shutdown in the extraction of stored products. |
| |
Using an ultra high molecular weight, low-pressure, polyethylene (UHMW-PE), IPE ENGINEERING was able to develop a product with particularly high anti-adhesive performance. |
| |
IPALEN 1000’s anti-adhesive properties are immediately obvious upon examination: a smooth and slippery appearance, with a waxy feel throughout the body of the product, allowing the material to retain its anti-adhesive properties even when surface integrity is breached. |
| |
In addition, its dense structure comprised of long molecule chains makes it highly resistant to abrasion. |
| |
Due to its significant experience in the use of IPALEN 1000 for the storage and handling of bulk products that flow with difficulty, IPE ENGINEERING is not only able to provide a recommendation as to the quality and thickness of the IPALEN 1000 lining to be used, but also can give advice on the facilities’ shape, and work conditions on the site, as to obtain optimal results. |

GUARANTEES : |
| |
IPE ENGINEERING guarantees the absolute anti-adhesive nature of the product, its wear resistance, and the durability IPLEN lining mountings, when such installation is carried out under IPE’s direct supervision. |
